Aproleche Bío Bío afirma que sus costos de producción han aumentado en casi un 20 por ciento durante este año, lo que -sumado a la imposibilidad de elevar los precios de comprar- mantiene en una fuerte crisis al sector.
El presidente de La Asociación de Productores Lecheros, Juan Pablo Aruta, indicó que los insumos como la electricidad, mando de obra, los fertilizantes y granos de alimentación han subido en un 18%.
Esta cifra, si se toma en cuenta que el precio de compra que establece Nestlé a los productores se ha mantenido, significa efectivamente un pérdida del mismo porcentaje.
De ahí la urgencia de reunirse con los representantes de la empresa para resolver esta situación, que Aruta califica de insostenible, por lo que ya están planificando nuevas estrategias.
El presidente de Aproleche indicó que este año el crecimiento de la producción nacional de leche, según la Odepa, estará cercana al cero por ciento, lo que grafica la profunda crisis.
