A fabricante dos cafés Nescafé e dos chocolates KitKat disse nesta quinta-feira que as vendas orgânicas em 2014, que excluem oscilações cambiais e aquisições, subiram 4,5 por cento.
Analistas previam em média uma alta de 4,5 por cento, segundo pesquisa da Reuters, após a Nestlé ter sinalizado em outubro que provavelmente ficaria aquém da sua meta de 5 por cento.
No fechado do ano, as vendas orgânicas cresceram 5,4 por cento nas Américas, 1,9 por cento na Europa e 5,7 por cento na Ásia, Oceania e África.
Em comunicado, a Nestlé pontuou que a América Latina entregou bom crescimento orgânico apesar da piora da situação macroeconômica na região. “Todas as categorias cresceram no Brasil”, disse a companhia, citando fortes contribuições das marcas Ninho, de leite infantil, Nesfit, de biscoitos, Nescau, de achocolatados e KitKat, de chocolates.
Os objetivos da Nestlé em 2015 incluem melhorias nas margens e no lucro recorrente por ação em moeda constante. A empresa também propôs aumentar seu dividendo para 2,20 francos suíços por ação.
“Esperamos que 2015 seja semelhante a 2014″, disse o presidente-executivo da Nestlé, Paul Bulcke, em um comunicado.
Em 2014, as vendas totais caíram 0,6 por cento, para 91,6 bilhões de francos suíços (97,37 bilhões de dólares), impactadas negativamente pelo câmbio.
O lucro líquido cresceu 4,4 bilhões de francos no ano, para 14,5 bilhões de francos, ajudado por aumento de preços, redução de custos e o lucro com a venda de parte da participação da Nestlé na L’Oreal.
